About The Position

The Landscaper maintains and enhances the appearance, safety, and functionality of an outdoor event venue. The role keeps lawns, gardens, pathways, and event spaces professionally maintained and presentation-ready for weddings, tournaments, festivals, and private events. Work includes preparing grounds before events, assisting with setup-area and parking preparation, restoring the landscape after events, operating and maintaining landscaping equipment, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

Experience working at outdoor venues, parks, golf courses, or event spaces.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders.
Organizational skills, including the ability to fulfill directions in a timely manner, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain integrity and high standards.
Ability to maintain and promote safety policies and accountability for safe practices.
May be required to lift up to 50–55 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and twist for up to 90% of a shift; frequently lift items from floor level to overhead; and stand or walk at least 10 hours daily.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
Knowledge of basic horticulture practices.
Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and turf areas.
Plant, weed, mulch, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and decorative landscaping.
Prune trees and bushes to maintain a polished, event-ready appearance.
Monitor plant health and report signs of disease, pests, or irrigation issues.
Apply fertilizers and treatments as directed, in accordance with licensing requirements.
Prepare grounds before scheduled events, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and manicured.
Ensure tent setup areas have level, debris-free surfaces.
Support parking layout preparation and grounds marking as needed.
Perform post-event cleanup and landscape restoration.
Maintain walkways, patios, and outdoor gathering areas.
Safely operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and utility vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Promptly report equipment repair needs.
Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.
