About The Position

Independent Management Services is hiring a Maintenance / Grounds team member for Rainbow Terrace in Cleveland, Ohio. The position supports upkeep of the property’s common areas, grounds, and vacant units, including seasonal snow removal and light maintenance assistance. The employee participates in ongoing maintenance education and training and reports directly to the Site Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires year-round indoor and outdoor work, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize projects. Requirements

• Ability to prioritize projects based on need.
• Demonstrated reliable work attendance and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of commercial or small grounds equipment and supplies.
• Attention to detail and working knowledge of residential cleaning supplies and practices.
• Ability to tolerate year-round indoor and outdoor work.
• Adherence to Federal Fair Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing maintenance education and training.
• Inspect common areas, the community, and property grounds daily.
• Keep the property well-groomed and free of litter, unsightly garbage, and clutter.
• Assist with reconditioning vacant units, including cleaning and debris removal.
• Remove snow and apply salt to main roads, walkways, and parking areas throughout the community.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and assist maintenance staff as necessary.
• Report directly to the Site Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
