Job Summary Lawn mowing and trimming according to maintenance schedule. Regular weeding of garden beds, walkways, patios, and lawns. Daily waste management and general exterior property tidiness. Clean pool and tidy pool areas. Perform pool equipment inspections. Care for all landscape/exterior lighting. Inspect weekly. Stack wood for active fireplace use where needed. Care for plants and vegetation with directed watering guidelines and maintenance. Trimming of hedges and bushes as scheduled. Key player in preparation of seasonal properties, such as Spring and Fall cleanup initiatives Inspect tools, machinery, and small engines. Perform preventative maintenance. Planting of garden beds, containers, window boxes, etc. with ongoing upkeep. Exterior furniture moving as needed to perform landscaping duties, as well as seasonal preparation. Assist with irrigation systems and ongoing maintenance. Assist with festive seasonal displays as directed by leadership (i.e. pumpkins/hay bales/mums in the Fall or holiday décor and lighting in the winter season). Complete preventative maintenance tasks on property’s landscaping systems/equipment. Maintain safe and clear exterior walking areas including landscaping, waste removal, and snow/ice management. Key team player in winter snow and ice management. Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized and fueled. Use safe work practices daily. Report any unsafe areas to Director of Engineering. Work effectively with other maintenance personnel in a positive, professional manner. Work with professionalism and high standards of guest services and quality of work. Assist Maintenance Manager with additional assigned tasks and projects.
