About The Position

Adelante is seeking a Landscaper to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of facilities and residential properties in Albuquerque and Valencia County. The position offers a daily opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Post-high school landscaping training
At least 2 years of landscaping, groundskeeping, or facilities maintenance experience
Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools
Must able to commute to Belen / Los Lunas (Company vehicle will be provided)
Must pass pre-employment drug and TB screen, and Agency, Federal and State Department of Health background investigations.
Must have own, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record.
Must possess a valid NM driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, perform keyboarding/typing functions, lift 50 lbs frequently.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, push/pull, carry occasionally.

Responsibilities

Mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds
Planting flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping features
Applying fertilizer, mulch, weed control, and other lawn care treatments
Removing weeds, leaves, grass clippings, and debris to keep grounds clean and attractive
Maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, including drip lines and sprinkler heads
Performing minor maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment and tools
Repairing and maintaining landscape features and walkways
Keeping outdoor areas clean and safe year-round, including snow removal and applying ice melt when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
