In this role, you'll help maintain ENTEK's grounds through mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, snow removal, equipment operation, and general property upkeep. What You'll Do As a Landscaper at ENTEK, you will help maintain and improve the appearance, safety, and functionality of our grounds and outdoor spaces. In this role you will: Cleans grounds, removes litter, leaves, snow Apply salt or other methods of ice removal Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs Operates tractor with large mower Trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls Cuts and maintains lawns Perform daily functional and safety inspections of assigned equipment Adherence with all safety policies, procedures and programs Promote safe work habits (ear plugs, safety glasses, safety PPE) Ensures the workplace is kept clean and orderly Promotes and follows company policy, support management decisions and company directions Holds self-accountable Sprays lawn, shrubs, trees, fencelines with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides Apply granular fertilizer, insecticides, and herbicides as required Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs Ensure the lawn and shrubs are watered appropriately Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears Performs routine maintenance and makes minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, chain saws, spreaders, spray equipment and string trimmers Ability to work onsite at an ENTEK facility. This is not a remote position. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), required.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Ability to work onsite at an ENTEK facility. This is not a remote position.
Nice To Haves
- Applicators license and/or orchard maintenance experience is preferred.
