About The Position
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking a landscaper to join their team. This role involves performing a variety of duties within general landscaping. Requirements
- Experience performing general groundskeeping or manual work involving construction or maintenance
Responsibilities
- Operate power equipment, such as riding and push lawn mowers, blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, sod cutters, lawn aerators, and 4-wheel all-purpose vehicles
- Perform routine landscaping such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering grass, flowers, and shrubbery
- Trim trees from ground level; remove leaves and branches
- Install and maintain automatic grounds sprinkler systems
- Wash and maintain grounds equipment
- Remove trash from facilities and grounds
- Install and replace landscaping; apply fertilizer and pesticides
