About The Position
Mark IV Enterprises is looking for a strong and reliable Field Operations specialist to help us with general duties at our residential apartment and commercial sites.
Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 60 pounds, shovel, rake and other landscape / hardscape tools
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, push, pull, and bend for the majority of the workday
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Desire to learn new things and ability to follow directions
Nice To Haves
- Experience with landscape installations a plus
- Experience with chainsaw operation a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties
- Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower
- Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
- Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs and bushes
- Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others
- Apply fertilizer to the ground to enhance growth
- Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle salt on ice to prevent falls
- Sweep walkways of debris
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds
- Cut down tree limbs that pose a danger
- Rake, mulch, and prune as needed
- Water plants and grass as needed
- Apply and spread mulch
- Exterior painting
- Other duties as assigned
