About The Position

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll create and maintain a flawless landscaping environment for our guests. You’ll also maintain the Park’s soft landscape elements including planting, weeding, cultivating, edging, mulching, irrigating and pruning. This role also involves clean-up of plant material displays, woodlot and watercourses, and assisting in other areas of the department including site clean-up and turf maintenance as required.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 17+ years of age.
• Candidates that are enrolled in or graduate of a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent experience
• Individuals that are able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract
• Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear
• People that are comfortable working in a team environment
• Candidates that have a reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or knowledge of hand tools is an asset
