About The Position

At Crescent Moon Landscaping, we owe our success to the quality work and dedication of our field staff. To help maintain and grow this standard, we are seeking hardworking technicians to execute the landscaping needs of our customers. As an ideal candidate, you will have a good attitude, be willing to learn and try new things, and able to overcome daily challenges and changes. You will be skilled and/or be trained in driving a truck and trailer; working with hand tools, power equipment and other landscape equipment (blowers, trimmers); working in the field in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) and you will be skilled and/or trained in variety of landscaping tasks involving installation. Additionally, you will display a proven ability to work with others to maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to execute tasks assigned by the management staff.

Requirements

GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
Able to drive truck and trailer
Able to start, operate, maintain and troubleshoot basic landscaping equipment. (trimmers, blowers, tiller, pull trencher, etc.)
Able to use and maintain hand/manual tools. (shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, tamps, etc.)

Responsibilities

Execute landscaping tasks assigned by management staff.
Maintain trucks, trailers and equipment used during the execution of daily tasks.
Work with other crews and management staff to keep shop and laydown yard organized, clean and presentable.
Demo of existing landscape features (turf, plants, decks, patios, etc.).
Site preparation (grading, fine tuning beds and turf areas, excavating for hardscaping features, trouble shooting irrigation and lighting systems, etc.).
Installation (sod, plants, irrigation, lighting, hardscapes, carpentry projects, drainage, etc.).
Monthly maintenance of trucks, trailers and equipment.
Cleaning and assisting in projects around shop and laydown yard.
Willing to help other teams meet their goals.
