About The Position

The Landscape Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds and curb appeal, ensuring the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, and vendors. This role requires compliance with company standards and applicable laws, effective communication with team members, and the ability to use various hand tools and powered equipment for grounds maintenance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid driver license
English language proficiency
Great customer service
Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards as they apply to residential housing

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day grounds’ maintenance and curb appeal.
Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, and vendors.
Compliance with company standards and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOC
Must be able to communicate effectively with all team members
Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.
Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds
