About The Position

The Landscape Technician beautifies our properties through project based landscape tasks including new landscape/hardscape installations and refreshing existing landscape beds.

Requirements

• Experience in general landscape maintenance and grounds keeping tasks.
• Knowledge of operation for power driven equipment and variety of manual tools.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices (including proper pesticide application and heavy equipment/machinery techniques).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Successfully pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Basic horticultural tasks that may include shrub, flowerbed or turf.
• New landscape/hardscape installation projects as directed.
• Planting of groundcovers, trees, shrubs and sod.
• Assist with pruning of small trees, shearing shrubs or ground covers, and deadheading/weeding of beds.
• Operate a variety of landscape equipment and tools.
• Perform minor sprinkler repairs as needed.
• Operate motorized vehicles and wear appropriate personal protection equipment.
