Requirements
- Team oriented
- Mechanical ability for use and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to operate all grounds equipment with proficiency
- Superior time management
- Proficient in use of spray equipment for applications of fertilizer/insecticides/herbicides
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
- Must be able to bend, kneel, climb excessively and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Perform duties with regard to cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of grounds, walkways and paved areas within the Home Office complex, including maintenance of the Shelter Insurance Gardens.
- Provide guidance and training to Grounds Attendant and part time employees in performing their routine duties.
- Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Motor Vehicle Report may be ordered on final candidates.
