About The Position
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Landscaper to join our premier Horticulture team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in maintaining elite property standards and possesses a strong foundation in horticulture practices. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong work ethic, a commitment to team collaboration, and the ability to execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the field of horticulture, commercial landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of horticulture standards, processes, and the standard equipment used in estate or golf course maintenance.
- Ability to work efficiently outdoors in all year-round weather conditions.
- Strong time awareness with the ability to stay on task, follow complex directions, make good decisions and problem solve on the job.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Safely and skillfully operate a full range of commercial landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, string trimmers, edgers, and other specialized hand and power tools.
- Maintain all assigned equipment in pristine, operational condition.
- Maintain high standards across the property, demonstrating an eye for detail.
- Take the extra steps necessary to ensure the grounds reflect a luxury club environment.
- Foster mutual respect within the team, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity.
