About The Position
Juniper is seeking Landscape Nursery Workers to maintain and organize plant material for landscape installation projects. This role involves caring for trees, shrubs, and other plants at our landscape install branch nursery, handling deliveries, organizing materials, and preparing orders for specific projects.
Requirements
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Plant ID, horticulture knowledge, and/or landscaping experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintaining trees, shrubs, and plant material in the nursery
- Unloading deliveries of plant material
- Organizing plant material within the nursery
- Pulling the correct plants and materials for each landscape installation project
- Hand-watering
- Moving soil, equipment, and materials
- General upkeep of the nursery
- Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to maintain and move plant material and supplies
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
