About The Position

Performs various landscape maintenance for the facility grounds. Performs general groundskeeping work throughout the Hospital and assigned facilities. Assures all tools are clean and kept properly stored for future use and keep good inventory on all materials. Follows hospital, state and federal guidelines for ensuring safe environment for workers, patients and public. Maintains compliance with hospital and departmental policies and Government Codes and procedures for safety, security, and infection control. Ensures the facilities and equipment for department services is maintained to promote comfort, efficiency and safety for patients and staff. Operates and cleans and maintains equipment per department & safety procedures. Uses required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) safety equipment. Responds promptly to on-call duties.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass hospital administered physical that measures ability to drive a commercial class vehicle in the state of WV
• One (1) year experience in groundskeeping.
• One (1) year experience in maintenance/construction.
