About The Position

MD Landscaping is looking for hard-working individuals to join our team as Landscape Maintenance Crew Members. This position offers you the chance to apply your horticultural expertise to high-end residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring every lawn is lush and every garden bed is thriving. You will be a key player in our seasonal pruning projects, utilizing your eye for detail to shape and enhance the structural beauty of trees and shrubs.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
  • Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
  • Landscaping is a physically demanding job - expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct general maintenance duties such as mowing lawns, edging, and trimming.
  • Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs.
  • Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
  • Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area
  • Operating various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tillers.
