About The Position

As a Landscape Maintenance Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with the care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns, and other landscaped areas within a specific territory. A typical day may include:

Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
Pruning shrubs, trees, and other plants
Assisting with planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanups
Operating landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting team members to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn hands-on skills, and wants to build a career in landscaping and grounds care.

Requirements

• A willingness to learn and grow in the landscaping field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Commitment to learning safe equipment operation and landscape care techniques
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass – or related experience (preferred)
