About The Position

70 Landscaping Laborers Temporary Full Time Workers are needed to begin work on 10/01/2026 through 07/01/2027. No experience or education is required, as the employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of power tools and equipment. The standard work schedule is from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday work required when necessary. The employer will offer 35 hours per week, with potential for more hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, or rain may affect exact hours. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check, and all legally required deductions will be made. Deductions may also include loans from the employer or the cost of repairs for intentionally damaged company or customer property. Voluntary shared housing is available for workers living outside a normal commuting area at a cost of $100 weekly or $200 deducted bi-weekly. No family housing is offered. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to a designated pick-up location, from which the employer will provide transportation to worksites. H2B workers will be reimbursed for visa and related fees in the first work week. The employer guarantees to offer full-time employment for at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period. Reimbursement for inbound transportation and subsistence will be provided upon completion of 50% of the contract, and return transportation will be provided upon completion of the contract or earlier dismissal.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test at no cost to the worker.
• Must pass a background check at no cost to the worker.

Responsibilities

• Planting and removal of various types of plants (seasonal color, annuals, shrubs, trees, etc.)
• Preparing flowerbeds and yards for irrigation of lawns
• Spreading mulch, soil, and weeding by hand
• Mowing, edging, stringing, trimming, and pruning
• Fertilizing, disease, and insect control
• Maintaining drainage and irrigation systems
• Using and maintaining equipment and tools (e.g., shovels, hoes, trimmers, mowers, weed eaters)
• Performing minor maintenance on equipment
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Removing trash/debris
