About The Position

Ryan Lawn & Tree is hiring a Landscape Install Technician to work with a skilled crew on residential landscape and hardscape projects across the Kansas City area. The role includes installing outdoor features and delivering quality work while representing the company professionally. Candidates without prior experience can learn through a structured training program, with opportunities to grow within the company. This is a safety-sensitive position involving the operation of vehicles and equipment. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing the required pre-employment screenings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Team-player mindset, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Basic customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, and push or pull equipment for extended periods, including up to 3 miles per day in the field.

• Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Install landscapes and hardscapes, including plantings, patios, walls, and other outdoor features, for residential clients.
• Work with a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard of quality.
• Represent Ryan Lawn & Tree professionally on job sites and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Operate tools and equipment safely in a variety of weather conditions.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
