The Enhancement Team Leader has the primary responsibility for supervising a team of landscaping workers in the execution of landscaping improvement projects. Projects range from installing seasonal color, perennials, and mulch to planting new trees and shrubs. This is a hands-on position for a hardworking, organized, motivated leader who must be able to read construction plans, operate a variety of landscape installation machinery, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for the safety and management of crew members
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring all crew members are in company uniform, and are wearing the proper safety gear as required (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Responsible for loading materials and equipment and departing shop by target time each morning
  • Responsible for pruning, mulching, installing plants and sod, installing seasonal color and perennials, and assisting in the proactive management of landscape installation projects.
  • Responsible for operating Dingo, Skid Steer, X-Mini and other landscape machinery.
  • Responsible for identifying issues within the landscape on the accounts that you service, recording those issues and reporting them to your manager
  • Responsible for keeping trucks and equipment clean and presentable
  • Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and reporting issues to your manager
  • Support branch manager with enhancement goals and objectives
