About The Position

The Enhancement Crew Lead is responsible for managing a number of groundskeeping teams. This person is responsible for overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces and maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in landscape construction
• Installation and care of tree and shrubs
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Good physical condition with an ability to lift 40 lbs
• Team player with high attention to detail
• Basic irrigation knowledge is helpful
• Custom service oriented with strong communication skills is a must
• Understanding of the importance of accurate and timely paperwork
• Proven leadership skills
• High school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended)
• Relevant certificate may be required
• Minimum of 2+ years working experience
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping
• On-the-job training as a landscape crew member
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• General landscape masonry skills a plus!
• Massachusetts hydraulics license a plus!
• Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
