Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader
About The Position
Blackjack Horticulture is a full-service landscape contractor specializing in maintenance, installation, floriculture, and masonry/hardscapes. Our mission is simple: making outdoor spaces a JOY, not a JOB. We're looking for a strong leader with great attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team-first mindset to lead our landscape enhancement crew. This position involves hands-on installation work — from planting trees and plants to laying sod — using handheld equipment, power equipment, and hand tools, while leading and overseeing your crew. You'll be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, ensuring quality, and setting the standard for professionalism on every job site.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of landscaping experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform physical, manual labor outdoors

- Prior leadership or crew lead experience

Responsibilities
- Oversee landscape installation on residential and commercial properties, including trees, plants, and sod
- Manage and complete installations within allotted project time
- Delegate and manage tasks among crew members
- Enter time for yourself and your crew
- Ensure all crew members comply with safety standards
- Maintain Blackjack's quality standards on every job
- Report any issues or concerns to your supervisor
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and fellow Blackjack employees
