About The Position

RIOS is an international design collective focused on creating wonder within the built environment through invention and ideas. They practice interconnected design across architecture, placemaking, landscape architecture, and experience design. Their process begins with attunement to program and context, leading to strong conceptual thinking and a holistically informed big idea. This foundation allows for exploration of ecology, materiality, sustainability, and tectonic expression, resulting in bold, inclusive, resilient, innovative, and meaningful design outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration. The Designer II role contributes to project success through increasingly independent design, technical, and project delivery responsibilities. Designers at this level are trusted team members who manage portions of project work with growing autonomy, support interdisciplinary coordination, and contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable design solutions.
