About The Position
Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable Landscape Crew Leader to join our dedicated team. This role involves leading a crew, performing various landscaping tasks, ensuring quality and safety standards, communicating with customers, and tracking job progress. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and participate in snow removal during winter months.
Requirements
- Landscaping experience
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices
- Ability to operate landscape equipment safely
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CDL desired, Chauffeur’s License a must
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, kneel, & perform physical labor
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

- Leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and train a landscape crew of 2+ crew members
- Coordinate and perform daily tasks that include planting, mulching, pruning, edging, stone work and more
- Ensure projects meets company quality and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Track job progress and report completion, delays, or concerns
- Safely operate landscape tools and equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Participate in snow removal operations during the winter
