About The Position

Ed Hekert Landscaping company is looking for a Landscape Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in building and installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features that enhance our clients' properties. Our team specializes in both hardscaping and softscaping projects, delivering quality craftsmanship and reliable service. This is a seasonal, full-time role with consistent hours and the potential for long-term employment. You'll join a supportive team environment and benefit from hands-on training and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

Experience in landscaping or construction work
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Able to perform sustained manual labor
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Reliable transportation to job sites

Nice To Haves

Experience using general hand and power tools on a job site

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape construction projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and stonework
Perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling
Install sod, plants, trees, and other landscape features
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow safety procedures and company standards
Collaborate with crew members and foremen to complete projects on schedule
