Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable residential landscape experience.
Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment: Skid Steer, Mini Excavator, Mowers, Edgers, Chainsaws, Brush trimmers, Other hand tools.
Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining drip and sprinkler systems.
Ability to install, repair, and maintain outdoor lighting.
Knowledge of planting: trees, shrubs, flowers, and groundcovers. Installing sod, scalping and seeding lawns.
Knowledge of site preparation: demo, grading and leveling, dump runs.
Understanding of plant care needs.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to maintain a clean appearance and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to meet scheduling needs and document extra work.
Ability to complete daily timesheets and production reports.
Ability to properly use and maintain safety and personal protective equipment.
Ability to drive and maintain a company truck.
Must be able to work overtime during busy seasons.
Must understand the risks of heat illness and take appropriate breaks.
Ability to work in extreme Arizona temperatures (100+ degrees during summer).
Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 60 lbs.
Must be able to continuously bend, stoop, stand, and twist throughout the day.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of landscape construction, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and groundcovers; installing sod, scalping and seeding lawns.
Conduct site preparation, including demolition, grading, leveling, and dump runs.
Troubleshoot and maintain drip and sprinkler irrigation systems.
Install, repair, and maintain outdoor lighting for aesthetic and security purposes.
Understand the needs of various plants, including shrubs, trees, flowers, and groundcovers.
Perform maintenance duties as needed, such as mowing lawns, removing debris, raking leaves, and edging sidewalks.
Operate landscaping equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, mowers, edgers, chainsaws, brush trimmers, and other hand tools.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
Follow instructions from the superintendent and management.
Meet scheduling needs and document any additional or extra work completed.
Complete daily timesheets and production reports.
Properly use and maintain safety and personal protective equipment.
Drive and maintain a company truck, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and organized.
Perform other duties as directed or assigned by management.
