We are excited to welcome new Landscape Construction Crew Members to our team in FT Myers, FL! Your role will involve the heavy lifting of landscape transformations—installing hardscapes, planting large-scale greenery, and ensuring our materials get to the site safely.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or general construction experience.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required for this role.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs. repeatedly, in the Florida heat.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- A "team-first" attitude with a track record of showing up on time and ready to work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience pulling a trailer is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Install sod, shrubs, trees, and flowers.
- Assist with hardscape elements like pavers, retaining walls, and irrigation systems.
- Drive company trucks (often with trailers) to transport equipment, debris, and materials to and from job sites.
- Utilize power tools and heavy machinery such as skid steers, trenchers, and chainsaws safely and effectively.
- Grade soil, dig trenches, and clear land to prepare for new layouts.
- Load and unload heavy materials (rocks, mulch, pallets of sod) and ensure the job site remains organized and safe.
- Maintain the high standards Sunrise is known for, ensuring every plant is level and every stone is set right.
