About The Position

A Michigan consulting firm specializing in facility projects is hiring a Landscape Architect for its office in the northwestern Detroit market. The role involves project management and design work on projects from planning and design through completion. The Landscape Architect will coordinate technical aspects of projects as part of a design team, communicate and resolve technical issues, present designs, and review and respond to construction RFIs and submittals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of site grading concepts.
• Knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards, and of design areas and methods.
• Experience with schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in relevant drafting and design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Project management experience preferred.
• Sports and recreation design experience, including athletic fields, preferred.
