About The Position

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Landscape Architect for their Raleigh, NC office. The role involves working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio on projects across the US, including Resiliency, Parks and Recreation, Greenways, K-12, and Corporate Campus Design. Responsibilities include grading, drainage, planting plans, amenity plans, custom detailing, rendering, and permitting. The company emphasizes positive environmental impact and team member development, aiming for each member to be proficient in all aspects of site design and construction. Requirements

• BS/BLA Degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred), Land F/X, and Microsoft office is required.
• Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Rhino, D5 Render, and GIS/ArcView.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self check work.
• Proactive thinking skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
• Previous internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Grading and Drainage Design, Site Design and Amenity Design, Planting Plans, Lighting Plans, Greenway Design, Construction Documents, Renderings, Project Manual Development, Erosion control plans and reports, Site Feasibility Studies, Estimates of Probable Cost, Construction Administration Visits and Reports.
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop design solutions.
• Assist with research efforts and career fairs
