The Landlord Engagement Coordinator is a key member of the Chicago Rents team and plays a vital role in expanding housing options for individuals and families within Chicago’s homeless response system. This position is responsible for conducting housing location services, performing unit inspections, and building strong, collaborative relationships with landlords and property managers across the city of Chicago. The Landlord Engagement Coordinator interfaces with tenants, landlords, and property management companies to support successful housing placements. This includes conducting virtual and in-person inspections to ensure units meet federal, state, and local housing standards, as well as providing ongoing outreach, education, and engagement to property partners to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
