Landfill Foreman
About The Position
Supervises technical operators and other crew members at the site to maximize productivity while ensuring compliance with company and government regulations. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant work experience required.
Responsibilities
- Manages daily operations and crews on site.
- Monitors and reports site cost and productivity goals and performance.
- Coordinates with Division/Site manager and region EHS to ensure environmental compliance and employee safety.
- Monitors and reports landfill cycle time.
- Motivates and counsels site operators.
- Actively participates in improving operations and implementing best practices.
