Requirements

• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the screening of all waste material coming into the City of Edinburg Landfill.
• Inspect all incoming loads for adherence to waste acceptance criteria.
• Direct and control traffic to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide customer assistance, including greeting and assisting customers by answering questions regarding policies and procedures.
• Weigh vehicles.
• Complete forms and reports.
• Receive incoming calls.
• Open and close landfill site.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities.
• Provide assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed.
