Join Benesch's Pennsylvania Division as a Land Surveyor where you will play a key role in supporting a variety of surveying and engineering projects. In this position, you will perform field data collection, property location surveys, prepare survey drawings, and collaborate directly with internal/external clients. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and procedures, with a minimum of six (6) years of progressive professional surveying experience. This position requires the ability to perform a broad range of engineering and surveying functions in both field and office settings. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in PennDOT topographic and location surveys, drone-based aerial data collection, boundary monument recovery, field-to-finish data processing, Recorder’s Office research, boundary analysis and computations, property plat preparation, and legal description drafting. A strong background in boundary surveying is essential, including experience with PennDOT right-of-way surveys and plat preparation. Preferred qualifications include experience preparing and reviewing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary Plats, Easement Plats, and other survey deliverables supporting transportation, land development, and infrastructure projects. Location This position will have an in-person work schedule and will work from our Pottsville, PA Office.
