Candidate can expect to be a supporting role for work on a wide variety of projects including transportation, environmental, water/wastewater, commercial, residential, solid waste, and energy from rural areas to urban areas. Utilize and maintain survey instruments to perform field surveys. Be able to operate or learn to operate a total station with data collector, GPS equipment, digital level, conventional level and other kinds of surveying equipment. Punctual with a willingness to learn new things. Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures which include but are not limited to, location data, statistical documentation, studies and surveys, and construction. Complete training on assigned tasks. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Able to walk long distances at times. Lifting up to 50lbs, walking on uneven terrain, climbing and visual acuity at a distance. Able to cut open line through brush.
