This internship offers a valuable opportunity for students in Land Surveying/Geomatics programs to gain practical experience supporting the Land Survey team. Interns will be mentored to learn technical reports, layouts, and survey plans for diverse land development and solar projects. The role involves assisting with office tasks such as CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing. Through training, interns will learn to perform various survey activities including leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross section surveys, and physical tasks like line clearing, pounding stakes, setting monuments, and locating underground objects. Interns will also gain experience with project-specific drawings such as ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout, and construction staking.
