Civil Engineering Internship - Land Development (Summer 2026)
About The Position
The Civil Engineering Intern position will support project teams in our Real Estate and Land Development market. This role involves assisting senior engineers with AutoCAD Civil3D, understanding plan interpretations, and providing support in drafting documents, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, and utility computations. The intern will also conduct research on properties and projects for zoning, including local and state requirements, complete site visits and field assignments, and assist in providing construction-related services such as permit applications and construction plans. Communication with the Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status is essential to meet designated chargeability goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
- Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Proven ability to work well both within a team and independently
Nice To Haves
- Entry-level experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred
Responsibilities
