This is a Summer 2026 internship opportunity for students in a Land Surveying / Geomatics program. The interns will gain experience supporting the Land Survey team in collecting and processing field data. They will be paired with a mentor for training on technical reports, layouts, and survey plans for land development and solar projects. The role involves assisting with office tasks such as CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing. Interns will learn to perform various survey activities including leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross section surveys, as well as physical tasks like line clearing, pounding stakes, setting monuments, and locating underground objects. Experience will be gained with drawings such as ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout, and construction staking.
