About The Position

Snyder & Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated Land Survey Technician to join the survey team in its Council Bluffs, Iowa office. The role involves fieldwork for survey activities that provide data to owners, contractors, and design professionals and support civil engineering projects for public and private entities. The firm works on projects including streets and highways, multimodal accommodations, stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, athletic facilities, land development, bridges, and buildings. The survey team contributes to projects intended to improve the communities Snyder & Associates serves. Be able to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
Be able to move on foot safely and effectively through active construction sites, undeveloped ground, uneven terrain, and wooded areas.
Be able to safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.
Follow and abide by all company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a construction-related trade or as a survey technician is preferred but not required.
An Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying Technology is preferred but not required.
