About The Position

Permian Resources is offering internship opportunities to college students to help their career development while advancing the objectives of the company. These paid summer intern opportunities will grant hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on specific projects that will aid their learning and add value to the Company. Each intern will be paired with a manager and mentor who will provide technical guidance throughout the internship. Along with their projects, interns will take part in a multitude of activities such as training, field tours, volunteer and networking opportunities with executives. The internship will culminate with a presentation crafted to showcase your knowledge of your work assignments and other aspects of your internship experiences. Land Intern Job Description: Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Land Intern for the Summer of 2027 Intern Program in Midland, Texas. The candidate could work to clear title for drilling locations, staying ahead of a fast paced, multi-rig horizontal schedule. They could assist in researching land ownership and mineral rights, along with analyzing title documents and verifying updated land and lease records. Additionally, the candidate could ensure that all land transactions comply with local, state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
Pursuing or have completed a degree in Energy Commerce, Land Management, Business Management, or related fields.
Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student.
Expected graduation: Fall of 2027 through Spring/Fall of 2028.
Available for internship start mid-late May 2027.
A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship.
Strong technical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to contribute expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

A minimum cumulative and major GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Lower GPAs in the applicant’s field of study may be considered if extenuating circumstances apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment.
