Land Development Project Engineer
About The Position
Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our Site/Civil team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in bringing innovative site development projects to life. This role involves designing comprehensive site plans and utility designs for a diverse range of public and private projects, including site layout, grading, and utility design (storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, dry utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control). The position also involves supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technicians, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in land development engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive site plans and utility designs for a diverse range of public and private projects.
- Design site layout, grading, and utility design, including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, dry utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control.

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution and timely approvals.
