About The Position

An engineering firm doing business in Michigan is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer for their growing office. This role involves leading project teams in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and specifications, as well as performing engineering analysis, design, and reporting. The position also requires evaluating land use/zoning requirements, managing permit applications and agency reviews, conducting site visits during construction, and collaborating within a multi-discipline team. Additionally, the role includes mentoring and training junior staff.

Requirements

• Must be an engineer or designer with experience in land development projects, sustainable design, utility design, and stormwater management design
• 3+ years of design experience on land development projects
• Familiarity with zoning ordinances/site plan approval processes
• Proficient in Civil 3D and Office 360 products
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Experience with K-12 site design preferred

Responsibilities
