About The Position

As Land Development Manager, you’ll take responsibility to oversee land project developments from permitting to final plat and turnover. This role is critical to our success towards providing an opportunity for home ownership at a great location at an affordable price for our buyers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years land development experience.
  • Working knowledge of residential construction or similar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, budgets and land development standards for projects
  • Coordinate amenity requirements and entrance construction
  • Monitor development activities and terms of purchase contract of outside lot developers
  • Work with Area Construction Managers to ensure lots meet specifications
  • Monitor lot development process for quality and timeliness
  • Coordinate deal terms and preliminary budgets with Land Acquisition Managers
  • Prepare lot listing/fence/lot fit plan with Construction Manager
  • Partner with engineers throughout development process
  • Inspect finished lots for completion and turn over to Production
  • Complete lot design and site plan
  • Inspect phase for completion and coordinate resolution
  • Complete lot acceptance check list prior to closing on lots
