About The Position

David Weekley Homes' Phoenix Division is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to join our Land Development team to help bring our communities to life! The Land Development Associate plays a key role in assisting with site development coordination, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process. This role provides valuable field experience and serves as the foundation for future growth within the Land Development or Entitlement career paths.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, land development, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with civil plans, permitting, and the land development process is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the Land Development Team in coordinating all aspects of project management, including budgets, schedules, and reporting.
Serve as a field representative, meeting with consultants, contractors, and utility providers to oversee site activities and maintain project timelines.
Participate in inspections, walkthroughs, and turnovers to ensure quality standards and compliance are achieved.
Coordinate community close-out efforts, including infrastructure turnover, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance, coordination with utility providers, and landscape walks.
Support HOA transitions by facilitating the completion and turnover of common areas to homeowners.
