About The Position

The Summer 2027 Land Data Management Internship Program is designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in data maintenance and industry practices within the energy sector. Interns will receive on-the-job training, support data maintenance for clients, and gain exposure to business and energy industry practices by working with Peloton's implementation teams and attending client meetings. The program also offers opportunities to network with client Land Administration teams and learn about energy industry terminology, decision-making, and risk analysis through industry courses. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors and mentors, and local travel to client sites may be required. Some travel may also be required for organized field trips (up to 10% of the time).

Requirements

  • Interns must have completed their first year of Land, Energy, or business course work
  • Interns must be enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Interns are responsible for providing their own housing for the duration of the internship
  • Relocation, housing, and travel cost assistance will not be provided by Peloton

Responsibilities

  • Become acquainted with Peloton product-lines through on-the-job training
  • Support data maintenance for clients as directed by supervisor
  • Build knowledge of industry practices by attending scheduled field trips/site visits
  • Gain exposure to real-life business and energy industry practices by working alongside Peloton's implementation teams and attending client meetings
  • Be presented with opportunities to network with client Land Administration teams to review and consult on their data
  • Become familiar with energy industry terminology, decision making, and risk analysis concepts by participating in industry courses
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor and mentor(s)
