About The Position

This internship program introduces participants to the consumer-packaged goods industry with the goal of sparking interest in future career opportunities and allowing them to make an impact. The program seeks curious, analytical, and innovative problem-solvers who want to help shape the future of work through data, automation, analytics, and AI. Interns will partner with business leaders and technical experts to identify opportunities, analyze data, develop insights, and explore automation and AI-powered solutions that create measurable business value. Participants will gain hands-on experience working on meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and help drive digital transformation within a leading food company.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program with at least one semester remaining following the internship.
  • Pursuing a degree in: MIS, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
  • A passion for using technology, data, and innovation to solve business problems.
  • Curiosity about automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, digital transformation, or emerging technologies.
  • Enjoy combining analytical thinking with business problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data and technical concepts into business insights.
  • Willingness to relocate to Omaha, NE for the duration of the internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Platform, AI tools, analytics platforms, or automation technologies is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, AI, and data-driven improvements.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help leaders make better business decisions.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts using modern technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power Platform, Copilot, and AI solutions.
  • Work alongside business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support the design of intelligent workflows, automations, and AI-enabled business processes.
  • Explore emerging technologies and evaluate how they can create efficiencies, insights, and competitive advantages.
  • Present recommendations and project outcomes to business and technology leaders.
  • Build skills that bridge business strategy, process improvement, analytics, automation, and technology delivery.
