About The Position

ERC is looking for Candidates with Leadership, Safety, Quality & Production as a Mindset... We are looking for a qualified land and construction surveyor to be responsible for preparing sites for construction and providing data on measurements to establish property boundaries. Land surveyors research legal boundaries, measurements of land, and perform mathematical calculations.

Requirements

Degree in surveying and/or knowledgeable of land survey and construction survey.
Valid Driver’s license
Good numeracy & cartography skills and the ability to make mathematical calculations
Logical thinking skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills
A keen eye for detail
Organizational skills
Written and verbal communication skills
A good memory
Construction Survey to include Property Boundary, Location, Site Planning, Subdivision and Topographic
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to kneel, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
Perform topographic and as-built surveys
Assist with construction staking or site layout surveys
Coordinate with field survey crews
Assist with zoning and permitting applications
Provide technical expertise other individuals in the company
Verifying data and calculations
Recording results of surveys
Calculating the measurements of sites
Writing descriptions of property boundaries
Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries
