About The Position

City Ventures is looking for a highly motivated Land Acquisition Manager. If you are a self-starter and want to procure new land acquisition opportunities for ground-up development of residential projects throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, then this is a great opportunity for you. The ideal applicant has 3+ years of acquisitions experience, has great interpersonal skills, and is fiercely tenacious. Working closely with landowners, city officials, and the brokerage community, you will manage all aspects of site acquisitions -- including sourcing and identifying development opportunities, analyzing/underwriting the project, structuring the deal, negotiating the contract, and consummating the transaction. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree is required; an advanced degree is welcome but not required
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate acquisition, development, or brokerage
Strong knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area region and submarkets
Adept at negotiations and creative problem solving
Proficient understanding of Excel and financial pro forma analysis
Organizational skills, strong writing skills, and great interpersonal skills are paramount
