About The Position

Responsible for fostering and maintaining high levels of customer service with our clients, our manufacturers partners, and salespeople. Works under immediate supervision.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in related area.
  • Must have problem solving ability
  • Must have excellent math skills
  • Understanding new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology
  • Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Blue Beam, internet research, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Cross-reference capabilities for major brands like Signify (Philips), Ledvance (Sylvania), and Current (GE).
  • Guides clients from legacy HID, T5, T8, and T12 fluorescent systems to modern LED products.
  • Pairs the proper driver or ballast with the exact lamp type for optimum solutions.
  • Understands and can explain technical specifications, including color rendering index (CRI), color temperature (CCT), lumens, and voltage compatibility.

Responsibilities

  • Competent communication skills via email, telephone or in person
  • Ensure customers are satisfied and any resolutions are communicated
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
  • Responsible for all aspects of quotation and support for order entry
  • Provides proactive shipping information to customers
  • Works to solve customer problems
  • Responsible for producing technical information when required
  • Responsible for all aspects of customer service
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
