About The Position

Under the direction of the Lamination Supervisor, this person is responsible for performing duties at the entry and exit ends of the laminator and quality control to conduct green bonds testing and inspection of finished fabric.

Requirements

• Ability to accurately and consistently follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, sitting or standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to grasp concepts presented within a reasonable time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand and follow quality and safety standards.
• Eye protection
• Hearing Protection
• Steel toe/ Non-Slip shoes
• Reflective Vest (where applicable)

• Lean manufacturing experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and identify training opportunities to reduce accidents and employee injuries.
• Ensure that daily production goals are met.
• Responsible for feed in, buttweld, and exit end duties.
• Responsible to relieve Feed-in, Buttweld, and Exit End Operators.
• Assist in startup of laminator.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in work area.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
• Review 1-piece cuts.
• Assist in weekend cleaning.
• Assist in cross-training team members.
• Assist in trouble-shooting NCRs, 8ds, and other quality issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
