The purpose of this position is to ensure that the Lamination process remains safely running and that the product remains free of quality defects. This position reports to the Lamination Lead. The role involves making machine/process adjustments, visual inspections of products for defects and grading, following specific order instructions, maintaining equipment through associate maintenance tasks and housekeeping, achieving quality standards, and overall visual control of the assigned section of the line. Responsibilities include managing seams, flying rolls using a gantry crane, driving lift trucks to move inventory, monitoring parameters like speed and material properties, performing quality checks and data entry, issuing and confirming material in the inventory management system, assisting with inventory audits, threading the line, assisting other departments, understanding lockout tag out and green lock procedures, feeding new rolls of material, and assisting the Department Lead in daily production. The role requires leading by example as a positive, team-oriented employee and maintaining housekeeping in the department.
